NASMA proudly participated in the ILAE -Chapter of Iraq workshop held on the 9th-10th of August 2023 at Neuroscience Teaching Hospital (Saad Alwtry) -Baghdad.
It has been an enriching and rewarding experience, and we are pleased to announce the successful completion of our participation in the event.
Throughout the event, we have the privilege of engaging with esteemed Neurologists, healthcare professionals, and experts in epilepsy, discussions, presentations, and workshops providing invaluable insights and knowledge that will undoubtedly contribute to increasing awareness about VNS indication, benefits, programming …etc. and enhance the ability to deliver high-quality healthcare products & patient’s life indeed.

Gladly NASMA shares part of the long journey in supporting Iraqi MOH toward new technology in the healthcare system through increased awareness about & practical workshops for healthcare professionals about these technologies.
Here are NASMA participations in Stimwave Workshop In Germany, Stimwave first of it’s a kind of wireless SCS (spinal cord stimulation) & PNS (peripheral nerve stimulations) without IPG (implantable battery) which leads to less invasive technique ( without general anesthesia )& temporarily leads !!!!
Indeed, that provides solutions for intractable pain, especially to those with war wounds injuries besides others.

Another Successful Cadaveric Workshop about VNS (Vagal Nerve Stimulator) was implemented in Turkey by NASMA to achieve our ultimate goal of “healthcare services near patient’s home “.
By doubling the number of VNS implantation centers across Iraq or even tripling them NASMA supports MOH to ensure that neurosurgeons fulfill the required clinical skills to get implantation surgery done in a perfect way.

Specific emphasis on how to maintain the highest standards in CPB management during cardiac surgery through proven techniques, resulting in better patient care and overall outcomes.
