A year ago today we stepped foot onto the first destination of a 15 country tour to meet women and discover beauty all over. It’s been an incredible journey since that time and one that we are very much still traveling. Everyday we get closer and closer to holding the physical manifestation of the simple dream that is over two years in the making. Words can not express how honored, excited, and a little relieved we are to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you to everyone who has followed along and supported our dreams. We can't wait to share The Beauty Clause book with you soon.
The time has come. Today we say goodbye to America and embark on a 3 month world tour to bring to life.

This is Madallena.
In secondary school in the south of Italy, from age to eleven to thirteen, girls had to wear a black robe of some kind and boys did not have to. I don’t know if this is still happening, but it did when I went there. When you asked why, the answer would be that the girls dressed too provocatively and that the boys would be distracted. This was almost every school in the city. I remember this being the first time that I realized that being a woman will be a variable in my life. It will matter. I was so mad. I think I was mad for two years. Every morning I would put on that robe and I was mad.

One year ago today, The Beauty Clause project became a full-fledged reality, reaching 100% of our funding goal on Kickstarter. The last 12 months have been some of the most memorable for our little group of dreamers - not only professionally, but personally. We've had the pleasure of meeting hundreds of women from more than 15 countries and we cannot wait to share their stories with you in our forthcoming book. For those who have been here from the very beginning - thank you. For those who are new to our community - welcome. We hope you all have enjoyed the ride as much as we have.
