Let's talk skincare...

Having taken a break from Tropic I have noticed how dry my skin has got, how my wrinkles are quickly creeping back, how dull my skin is looking, how not only is my make up not sitting as nicely it's not lasting as long and then there's the fact that I keep getting told how tired I look 😵

And I do! However not only do I look it, I feel it! It's amazing how skipping some or all of your skincare routine can have such a big effect on how you feel as well as how you look!

However the annoying part to this is why? Why did I let myself slip when I LOVE Tropic?! I love how it feels on my skin, I love the smells and the textures of the products. I love how my skin looks when I'm using the products but most importantly I LOVE the ME time!

Those few moments every morning and evening were my time just for me to do something that made me feel AMAZING! I was able to do my daily affirmations, give myself a bit of a pamper and feel good about myself in the craziness of my life!

For me it's self care, following my morning and evening routine daily helps to give me some time away from life's stresses and mayhem. It gives me time each day to focus solely on me, not my family or work just me. It helps to ground me and gives me time to do my affirmations and reflect on me not just my life.

One of my favourite sayings is without number 1, 2 and 3 can't follow!!

You have to look after yourself to be able to look after others and that start with self love and happiness ❤️
