Light for Art, a sector in the El.En. group specializing in laser systems for the preservation and restoration of art works, combines the group’s philosophy oriented towards new technological challenges with the reclaiming of artistic traditions of the past. The cultural heritage and innovation meant as improvement for humankind, are the two driving powers leading Light for Art’s mission. Because of the outcomes of the research carried out, El.En. has designed tools that give art the original beauty that time and pollution has concealed.

We are proud to have recently completed a five-day training experience at Palacio Ceci in Buenos Aires, where restorers, museum professionals, and cultural heritage specialists explored laser technology for the conservation and restoration of artworks.
As the Art Conservation division of El.En. SpA, Light for Art would like to sincerely thank Tecnoimagen, our local partner and DEKA Laser (part of El.En. Group)'s distributor in Argentina, for their valuable support in making this initiative possible and bringing advanced laser expertise to the cultural heritage community.
Participants discovered how laser technology can support the conservation of paintings, sculptures, jewelry, historical artifacts, and many other materials, showcasing the same precision, innovation, and expertise behind advanced applications in medicine, surgery, and industry.

We appeared on Rai Cultura, Italian national TV!
In the heart of Rome, Villa Silvestri Rivaldi is at the center of a major restoration project led by the Istituto Centrale per il Restauro (ICR), in collaboration with the Regione Lazio.
Through an “open restoration” approach, the site has become a living laboratory where students of the ICR School of Advanced Conservation Training work side by side with experts, actively contributing to the uncovering and preservation of extraordinary frescoes hidden for centuries. They are also involved in the rediscovery of remarkable fresco cycles attributed to the circle of Perin del Vaga.
Advanced technologies play a crucial role: Light for Art laser technology by El.En. SpA is used by the ICR team to support precise and selective cleaning processes, targeting unwanted layers while preserving the original materials.
A powerful example of how heritage conservation, innovation, and education come together to train the restorers of tomorrow.
