A 12-year-old girl who was r@ped by a masked man in Lagos State identified the attacker as her neighbour.

The minor’s lawyer, Toyin Ndidi Taiwo, who shared the story in a Facebook post on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 said the victim recognised the suspect by the distinctive scar on his hand.

Ms Taiwo also commended the Gender Unit of the Lagos State Police Command for their diligent investigation.
