For the rest of 2014 I will be completing a Challenge a Month in aid of two fantastic charities, Jersey Childcare Trust and Jersey Hospice Care. Hello!
My name's Grace Allan and for the rest of 2014 I will be completing a Challenge a Month in aid of two fantastic charities, Jersey Childcare Trust and Jersey Hospice Care. On the 12th April I cut off 13inches of my hair and donated it to the Little Princess Trust where it'll be made into a wig for a child suffering from hair loss. WOW! What an emotional and exhilarating weekend!
Our October's challenge, with thanks to the twenty abseilers, has raised for charity a phenomenal £2,554.24 and counting!!!
HUGE thank you to everyone who came along to support, those who sponsored from home and afar, the abseilers and Mr John Fox for his cool head whilst the rain poured and the wind picked up!

Thank you so much for your support today! £126 was raised today inspired by Wilma (on her birthday) and her wonderful legacy which we are all apart of. Nervous but excited for tomorrow, time to get some sleep! Xo
Love In Action was started in memory of Wilma Allan, an incredible lady who challenged herself to be better and help others. She proved that love is an action. Tomorrow the abseiling team take on an incredible and daunting challenge of abseiling down Mont Orgueil Castle.

Eden by Claire were the lovely florists who made the bouquets and roses up for the Love In Action day in May. Wow what a lot of love there is around!

2 DAYS UNTIL OCTOBERS CHALLENGE!
So you've met some of the team abseiling on Saturday 4th October but there are still twelve brave and excited participants who will be taking on Mont Orgueil Castle in 2 days time who you've yet to meet! Show your support by sponsoring to their pages or if you want to come along and cheer and wave us down, half of the team will be abseiling around 10.15am and the second at 11.15am on saturday.

4 DAYS UNTIL THE ABSEIL!!
Trudi is also flying in from Scotland to do the abseil on saturday, she's pretty nervous but determined to challenge herself to put love in action. Read on to find out why she's taking part.
What would be your words of encouragement be to the other abseilers if they get nervous on the day?
Don't look down! Remember to breath (I forgot that and I think I held my breath the whole way down my first practice abseil!). And remember it's all for great causes and in memory of a lovely lady.
What made you sign up to take part in this challenge?
I wanted to do something in memory of your mum especially as I wasn't able to go to her funeral. I also wanted to support your chosen charities and this seemed like a good challenge as I'm petrified of heights. It was also a good excuse to come and see you all Jersey!
Have you ever abseiled before? Are you nervous for this challenge?
I've never abseiled and never thought I would. I'm terrified!

Septembers Love In Action challenge is complete! Here are some photos from today! Liam and I finished just over 1 hour and Aidan rocked it taking only 51minutes. Thank you so much for all your donations so far. Next week... we abseil!
