Maki-e workshop

September 9th, 2024. A lovely couple from Texas, USA. They make and sell beautiful steelworks. They enjoyed making their Maki-e pieces and carefully finished beautiful works✨️✨️

September 3rd, 2024. Two ladies who love arts came from Hong Kong to participate in the Maki-e workshop. One teaches kintsugi, and the other is a pottery artist in Hong Kong. Both of them were very interested in maki-e and finished wonderful pieces.✨👏✨ One of them liked it so much that she came the next day and finished the piece with line drawing technique!

August 26th, 2024. Two lovely couples participated in the workshop. One of them chose a dragonfly that she found in her garden, and the others chose Japanese motif. They all had a lot of fun and concentrated on their work. They said they were going on a trip to Kyoto after Tokyo. Their works are wonderful✨✨✨✨

August 6th, 2024. Today's guest was a high school girl from Singapore. She came to Tokyo with her mother on a business trip, and while enjoying sightseeing in Tokyo, she chose the maki-e workshop. She loved maki-e so much that she came back the next day and completed four pieces total as souvenirs for her family. The power of youth is amazing😲! Great job!!✨✨

July 30th, 2024. Today's guests were from USA. They are nice and close mother and daughter😊 They decided on the design based on inspiration from artworks they had seen in art galleries and museums in Japan. They were focused and produced very cool pieces.✨️✨️

July 16th, 2024. Today's guests were from USA. They are nice and close mother and daughter😊 The mother is a painter and interested in Japanese paintings,too. They painted and chose colors carefully and finished beautiful pieces✨️✨️

July 2nd, 2024. Today's guests were from UK and USA. They like Maki-e art and Japanese culture. They liked detail work and made wonderful pieces🌟🌟　One of the guests said she was going to a hair salon 💆and the other said she was going to walk around Shibuya after the workshop😊

June 25th, 2024. Today's guests were a gentleman from Colorado, USA and a lady and her Japanese aunt from Virginia,USA. They concentrated for two hours and made beautiful pieces👍️ ✨️👍️

June 24th, 2024. Today's guest was a from New Jersey, USA. She focused two hours to make a awesome piece ✨️She said it was lovely getting to work on something different than she had ever done before😊Great job!

June 17th, 2024. Today's guests were a nice father and his lovlely daughter from California, USA. They enjoyed the process of making mak-e and finished beautiful pieces.✨👏️✨.

June 3rd, 2024. Today's guests were a couple from Munich, Germany and a family from Cincinnati, USA. They really focused two hours and beautifully finished very fine design✨👏️✨👍️️️ The couple would like to buy tools and materials to continue to make Maki-e pieces in Germany👍️

May 29th, 2024. Today's guests were a couple and their mother, aunt, and cousin from the U.S. They are a very nice family and having a good time in Japan. They concentrated on and finished very detailed designed pieces. After Tokyo, they will travel to Kyoto, and I wish them a very enjoyable trip to Japan! Great job ✨️✨✨✨
