Happy new year

On Christmas Day morning, a boda boda rider made a discovery that has shaken our everyone. The body of Betty Karendi, a 14-year-old Grade 9 pupil, was found near Igoji Teachers College. A child. Gone.
Betty had left home on Christmas Eve, believed to be attending a church kesha. Reports now indicate she was last seen at Farm Fresh Garden & Restaurant and later left with people who are yet to be identified. Some residents heard screams around midnight but assumed it was part of Christmas celebrations.
Whether there is CCTV footage or not, justice must not stop.
This was the death of a minor. It demands urgency, transparency, and seriousness from our authorities.
We call upon the Directorate of Criminal Investigations - DCI kenya police
Thoroughly investigate all leads
Trace witnesses and last contacts
Use forensic and digital evidence
Hold every responsible person accountable
No cover-ups. No delays. No silence.
We cannot normalize violence against our children. Speaking out may be uncomfortable, but silence is worse.
Justice for Betty Karendi.
For her family.
For our daughters.
For our conscience.

Happy jamhuri day
Today and every day, I want to remind you that you are seen, valued, and deeply loved. Your status does not define your worth, your beauty, or your future. You are strong, courageous, and deserving of the same respect, dignity, and affection as anyone else.
To everyone living with HIV—your journey is a testament to resilience. You continue to rise, to hope, and to live boldly despite challenges that many may never understand. You deserve love that is honest, friendships that are loyal, and a world that treats you with kindness and equality.
May you always remember that you are not alone. You are cherished. You are important. You are worthy of care, compassion, and happiness. We stand with you, support you, and celebrate you—today and always.
Today, we stand together in unity, love, and hope as we commemorate World AIDS Day. This day reminds us of the courage of those living with HIV, the strength of communities that support them, and the progress we continue to make in the fight against stigma and discrimination.
We honor every life impacted, every battle fought, and every victory achieved—big or small. We acknowledge the resilience of individuals who live positively each day, and we renew our commitment to creating a world where everyone receives compassion, respect, and access to care.
Let us choose understanding over judgment, awareness over ignorance, and love over stigma.
Let us keep educating, supporting, and uplifting one another.
Together, we can create a future free of discrimination—
a future where HIV is not a barrier, but a condition met with dignity and hope.
🌺 To everyone affected, you are seen, valued, and loved
