Amblyopia, or "lazy eye," is a vision disorder where one eye doesn’t achieve 10/10 visual acuity, even with glasses or contacts.
This condition develops in early childhood and involves reduced vision without structural eye abnormalities. The brain suppresses the image from the weaker eye to avoid confusion and double vision.
