How can you keep the colour of your permanent eyebrow makeup looking beautiful? 🤎

To help your permanent makeup retain its colour for longer and prevent it from turning grey too quickly, follow a few simple recommendations:

☀️ 1. Apply SPF not only to your face, but also to your eyebrows.
Sun exposure can make the pigment fade faster, so always apply sunscreen to the permanent makeup area before going outside.

✨ 2. Protect your eyebrows during chemical peels.
Always tell your cosmetologist that you have permanent makeup and ask them not to apply the peeling product directly to the eyebrow area. A small distance should be kept from the permanent makeup, as acids can speed up pigment fading and affect its shade.

🤍 3. Tint your natural eyebrow hairs.
If your natural hairs are lighter than the permanent makeup, I recommend tinting them approximately once every three months. This will make your eyebrows look more balanced, defined and well-groomed.

It is important to understand that permanent makeup does not remain unchanged forever. Over time, the pigment gradually fades, loses its intensity and may develop a cooler or slightly greyish tone. This is a completely natural process.

When you notice that the colour has become less intense or has started to change, it is the first sign that it is time for a refresh.

Permanent eyebrow makeup should usually be refreshed every 1 to 1.5 years to maintain a beautiful colour, shape and fresh appearance.
