Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has finally spoken after a viral video of her working at a restaurant surfaced online.

The reality TV star, who won the Level Up edition of BBNaija and went home with a grand prize reportedly worth ₦100 million, became a trending topic after streamer Davrel spotted her serving customers at a restaurant.

"What is wrong with working as a salesgirl? If I were streaming in a restaurant, everyone would assume I was streaming there. The guy came in and saw me. What will you have me do when brands no longer want people to brand for them, and maybe I cannot secure a 9-5 job? Even if I want to secure a 9-5 job, what does 300k at the end of the month want to do for me? I will face a lot getting to work, because I'm popular. Everybody will want me to do a transfer for them.

People are saying, " Oh, her money don finish", so working as a waiter in Nigeria is a bad thing? What about people who travel abroad and work as waiters, cleaners, nannies, is it okay to do that overseas, but it's bad to do that over here?"
