National Fitness Day is fast approaching šŸ’Ø

One thing I’ve learnt over the years is that consistency really is key. šŸ”‘

Getting enough protein, fuelling your training, recovering properly and making good choices most of the time doesn’t have to be complicated

You don’t need to train perfectly every week, eat perfectly every day or have everything figured out. It’s the little things you keep doing consistently that make the biggest difference.

I’ve now been with Prep Kitchen for over 3 years, and having good, high protein, nutritious meals ready to go has been such an easy way for me to stay consistent with my nutrition especially when life gets hectic.

Training, eating well, recovering and just doing the basics over and over again… that’s what creates progress and changes!

So this National Fitness Day, I’m celebrating the boring stuff too šŸ˜‚ because it’s usually the boring stuff that works.

Maybe you don’t need more confidence. Maybe you need more evidence of what you’re capable of. šŸ¦‹

One of the biggest things strength training has given me isn’t just muscle or a stronger body.

It’s confidence.

Not the confidence that comes from looking in the mirror the confidence that comes from knowing I can do hard things.

I’ve noticed it more and more outside the gym.

I’m currently renovating a house, and I’ve found myself trying things I genuinely never would have had the confidence to do before.

Picking up tools.
Building things.
Lifting things.
Learning as I go.
Getting something wrong and figuring it out anyway.

And I keep thinking… šŸ’”

I probably wouldn’t have had this mindset a few years ago.

Training has taught me to trust my body, trust myself and stop immediately thinking ā€œI can’t do that.ā€

And that’s what I want more women to experience.

I don’t want you to train just because you want a smaller waist or to look ā€œtoned.ā€

I want you to know what it feels like to look at something difficult and think:

ā€œF*ck it. I can probably figure this out.ā€

Because the confidence you build under hard training follows you everywhere.

Into your work.
Into your relationships.
Into challenges.
Into everyday life.

Build muscle. Build strength. Build the belief that you are capable.

You might just become the most confident version of yourself.

šŸ”– Save this for the days you doubt yourself. ā™„ļø

Not much CrossFit happening around here lately… and honestly, I’m feeling a little chunky šŸ˜‚

But I’m still moving. Still training. Still bodybuilding. Still trying to make the best of what I’ve got at the moment.

Sometimes training doesn’t look exactly how you want it to, and that’s okay. You don’t have to be in your ā€œbest shapeā€ or following your perfect routine to keep showing up.

So for now, it’s a bit of bodybuilding, a bit of DIY, a lot of renovations… and hopefully a bit more CrossFit when life allows šŸ« šŸ˜‚

Just doing what I can with what I’ve got. šŸ’ŖšŸ¼
