A Heartfelt Appeal from the Rohingya Community

We, the Rohingya, will never forget the kindness and shelter given to us by the government and the people of Bangladesh during our darkest days. Your compassion gave us hope when we had lost everything. You stood with us when the world looked away and for that, we are forever grateful.

But today, it deeply pains us to see how some perceptions about us are changing.
Hearing ourselves compared to others in harmful ways breaks our hearts. We are not here by choice, and we never wanted to be a burden. We are simply trying to survive, to live with dignity.

It is not a question of politics it is a question of humanity.

We humbly urge the government of Bangladesh to make a clear and just decision regarding employment opportunities in the camps, especially for both Bangladeshi and Rohingya teachers. We are not asking for privilege we are asking for equality, to be given the chance to work, to contribute, and to educate our children so that one day, they too may live in peace.

We believe that true friendship stands on mutual respect and understanding. Let us not turn away from each other now. Let us move forward with compassion, not suspicion. Let us build a future where dignity is not denied to anyone no matter their background.
