Although they represent the Miss Northern Marianas Descent Beauty Pageant, these young women are more than pageant girls — they are island girls rooted in resilience, culture, and community. Despite sustaining damages and hardships brought by Super Typhoon Sinlaku, they have chosen to rise, equip themselves with knowledge and compassion, and step forward to serve their community during this time of recovery. Their crowns do not only symbolize beauty, but strength, heart, and the spirit of the Marianas people.
