You’re doing this WRONG and don’t even know it ❌

In this video I show you the wrong ex*****on (what most people do) and the CORRECT way, step by step 🔥

Making mistakes is normal, but repeating them without knowing is what’s holding your results back.

Most people mess it up for a few key reasons:

1. Going too heavy
This forces the body to use momentum instead of the deltoid actually doing the work. It turns into more of a “heave” than a controlled raise.

2. Raising above shoulder height
Once your arms pass shoulder level, the trapezius takes over — not the lateral deltoid, which is the actual target muscle.

3. Wrong wrist rotation (“pouring water”)
Tilting the wrist like you’re pouring water out of a cup increases shoulder impingement risk without adding real extra activation.

4. Swinging the torso
Using body momentum takes tension off the target muscle.

5.Dropping the weight too fast
The eccentric (lowering) phase is where a lot of the growth stimulus comes from, and most people just let gravity do it.

How to fix it:
- Lighter weight, full control
- Stop at shoulder height
- Slight elbow bend, neutral wrist (not “pouring”)
- Slow lowering (2-3 seconds)
