A Proud Moment for Dowa 🩺

Dowa District is represented once again as William Banda, a Nurse Midwife at Dowa District Hospital, has officially submitted his papers to the NONM Secretariat to contest for the position of Chairperson for the Central East Zone.

The Central East Zone brings together Dowa, Ntchisi, Kasungu, Salima and Nkhotakota.

William says his leadership will focus on three important areas: unity and representation, professional growth, and the welfare and advocacy of Nurses and Midwives.

His aim is simple — to make sure members have a voice, have opportunities to grow professionally, and have someone who will stand for their welfare and working conditions.

As Dowa Youth Action Movement, we are proud to see professionals from our district stepping forward to serve and provide leadership beyond the district.

We wish William Banda all the best in this journey. May the process be fair, and may his vision speak for itself. 🤝
