Cleanser 💦:
Cerave Renewing SA Cleanser (RM70) 🔃 Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser (RM70)

Still using Vanicream at night but in the morning I feels like my skin love Salicylic Acid better that’s why I switch to this Cerave SA Cleanser.

Essence 🍂:
Cosrx Galactomyces Essence (RM43.5) 🔃 Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence

Been using the Cosrx Snail Mucin for almost 2 years now. Really a HG product. Soothing and helps reduce my pores visibility. I think it’s time to move on and say good bye to my favourite essence.

Just give this new Cosrx essence a chances since I heard much good review about it.

Vitamin C 🍋:
Melano CC 🔃 The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid + Alpha Arbutin

Vit C. A holy grail for hyperpigmentation and fading acne scar. You should add it into your routine. Vit C usually don’t cause purging.

Moisturiser💧:
IUNIK Centella Calming Gel Cream 🔃 Kayman Skintella Moisturiser

Both of them are very good moisturiser. Contained centella which help soothing our skin.

Change bcoz my skin need more hydration than what Kayman moisturiser can offer.

AHA 🍁:
Good Genes Glycolic Acid 🔃 The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10%

Glycolic acid can pe*****te deeper to ur skin compare to lactic acid. But lactic acid more gentle. My skin started to build it tolerance towards direct acid. So I think it’s right time to introducing glycolic acid.

[Product Review] Axis Y Mugwort Pore Clarifying Wash Off Pack

Been using this product for almost 3 weeks now. 1-2 times per week.

Axis Y Claim:
🍀 Unclogs pores and improves appearance of pores
🍀 Calms inflammation and irritation
🍀 Exfoliates the skin with Adzuki Bean granules

My thought -
Pros:
1️⃣ Very soothing, and calming (even after 10mins being applied on my skin)
2️⃣ Skin immediately feel fresh and smooth after you wash off this mask
3️⃣ Starting to see the results in minimising pores and remove excess oil
4️⃣ Awesome for oily/resilient skin compare to clay mask which can be a little bit drying for some

Cons:
1️⃣ Hard to find appropriate amount to apply. Can be use too much or too less. Maybe bcoz I’m not used to wash off mask yet 🤣
2️⃣ Hard to wash off if you leave it to your face for too long (please stick to 10mins and wash off)

This is Glycolic Acid Serum from Sunday Riley. So far I think this product gentle enough to use every day. I love the texture. It makes my skin felt more soft and firm.

More is not always better 🥀

8 to 10 skincare steps is not for everyone. Especially when we’re using too much active ingredient in a single routine. It can cause a lot of irritation and damaged our skin barrier. (More harm than benefit)

This is my previous skincare routine before I simplified it. Tbh I love every single skincare here. They’re doing their job in treating my skin concern.

Despite the good results they have, it took me around 15mins to finish each routine. (Not good if I wake up late to office 😂)

My wallet also “koyak” every month 😅

That’s some reason why I started to reduce a little bit my skincare. Four steps on AM/PM routine. My goal is to give what my skin need only and so far it showing a great result. 🥰
