郭素沁续说，教育部经常都没提供足够的拨款支付学校的开销，连水电费都需董事部募款和津贴。

因此，她认为，董事部出租礼堂给外界以获取租金，是解决学校经费不足的管道之一。
“其实，只要是在非学校上课时间，和租借的单位不涉及和影响学校师生，董事部有权将学校礼堂出租给任何人和任何机构。”

“这是董事部的主权，同时也没违反教育条例。”

“但是很遗憾的，马汉顺不但不去纠正教育局施行不符合教育法令的‘学校董事权’ 的条例，反而通过他的特别助理致电警告校方，并护着‘法外立法’的教育局！”
