By physical fitness, we mean fitness in terms of health and skill based performance. A person can be said to be physically fit if he has the ability to perform physical activities which require strength, flexibility or endurance. In this fast pacing life, everyone has a very hectic schedule. A person does not get much time for himself. But if one wants to stay health and fit, he must make regular
exercise a part of his life.One must schedule at least 30 minutes for physical activity. Physical fitness can be achieved through the help of exercises, correct nutrition and proper amount of rest.Children, now a days, spend more of their time on computer games, video games or television which results in nothing except weakening their eyes at very small age, and this may create many physical problems to them. A person that does not get enough of physical activity or exercise will quickly put on weight and become fat very soon. Thus, results in joining weight loss program later on. Exercise helps in a very healthy way to make a person stay healthy and happy and live longer. It also helps in reducing or preventing the chances of various kinds of diseases. It is not necessary that a person must stick to some fixed exercises. One can include practices like dancing, swimming, walking, gardening, playing, cycling etc. Fitness exercise are of many kinds. One can include fitness sports too such as playing cricket, football etc. Exercises can be made a part of one’s life by making them fun for him. A person stays encouraged and motivated through this. Children can play with their friends in the lawn, park. Teenagers, adolescents, youths,adults, older people must get involved in the various kinds of physical exercises to stay healthy and fit. Physical fitness exercises are very important and essential for them as they usually keep busy with their work. Youth physical fitness is as important as children physical fitness or kids fitness. Daily physical activity helps in staying active and fresh throughout the day. Being physically active is very necessary, a physically inactive person becomes lazy and start getting tired soon, thus he is more prone to various illnesses and diseases. Exercise also helps to increase strength, improves cardiovascular capacity, stamina, speed, flexibility and endurance. It helps in the reducing the excess fat from the body, improves the cholesterol level and also improves the blood circulation. It also helps in keeping all the body organs fit and functioning. Exercise also helps in maintaining balance and coordination. Exercise helps in having a better sleep. Exercise not only helps a person to be fit and healthy ,but also helps in reducing the stress and anxiety on the minds of a person ,thus keeps a person remains cheerful, happy. Thus, it not only helps physically but also mentally, it helps in improving the mood of a person. Along with regular exercises, a person must intake proper and the correct amount of nutrition. Fitness and nutrition go hand in hand. One must avoid fatty, junk and oily foods and artificial drinks. One must drink 10-12 glasses of water daily to have a healthy digestion system. Eating right food at the right time is very necessary. Enough rest is also very important as rest plays a very significant role in keeping a person physically fit. One can schedule fitness workout,fitness routines or fitness programs for oneself as it helps a lot but a person must not indulge in such physical activities or exercises that does not suit him or give him pains.These days, people also keep personal fitness trainer. Everyone also know one’s body limits to do the activities, so, one must not force himself to do the activities or exercises above one’s limit. One must do exercises on a regular basis along with right nutritional diet to stay healthy, fit and fine.
