STOP! Don’t style your wig before seeing this. 🚨

Styling a dirty wig is one of the fastest ways to shorten its lifespan.

Here are a few reasons why you should never style dirty hair:

✨ Product buildup weighs the hair down, making curls and styles look dull and lifeless.

✨ Dirt, sweat, and oils prevent styling products from working effectively.

✨ Applying heat on dirty hair can cause buildup to bake into the strands, leading to dryness and damage.

✨ Tangles and shedding are more likely when styling hair that hasn’t been properly cleansed.

✨ Clean hair holds styles better, looks shinier, and moves more naturally.

Before reaching for your curling wand, rollers, or straightener, make sure your wig gets the care it deserves.

How to Use Snap Rollers to Maintain a Bouncy Wig

1. Prepare your tools
* A mixture of water and leave-in conditioner
* Wrap mousse diluted with water (not hard mousse)
* Snap rollers
* Comb
2. Section the hair
* Section the hair into two halves
* Always work with small sections for better results.
3. Determine the curling direction
* Curl away from the face.
* Left side of the hair → roll towards the right.
* Right side of the hair → roll towards the left.
4. Dampen the hair
* Lightly spray the section with your water and leave-in conditioner mixture.
* The hair should be damp, not soaking wet.
5. Apply diluted wrap mousse
* Apply the mousse to the section.
* Comb through to distribute the product evenly and remove tangles.
* Diluting the mousse helps prevent a crusty finish.
6. Position the snap roller correctly
* Place the roller parallel to the weft.
* This provides better grip and tension.
7. Roll the hair
* Ensure the section of hair is not wider or thicker than the roller.
* Wrap the hair neatly around the roller.
8. Secure the roller
* Snap the roller firmly in place.
9. Allow the hair to dry
* Let it air dry for 2–3 days (or longer if possible) before removing the rollers.

Key Tips to Always Note:
✅ Work in small sections.
✅ Keep the hair damp, not drenched.
✅ Use diluted wrap mousse, not hard mousse.
✅ Curl away from the face.
✅ Keep the roller parallel to the weft.
✅ Don’t overload the roller with too much hair.
✅ Allow sufficient drying time for long-lasting curls.
