I watched a program where a girl (she said she is an adult because she is 20 🤣🤣🤣🤣) boldly disowned her own mother — the woman who carried her for nine months — all because of a man who doesn’t even respect her family. You’re shouting “my husband,” yet the man didn’t even acknowledge you as his wife. 😞 My gender, why na?
My question is: what kind of confidence does she have in this man that made her disown her own mother in public?
Sometimes, what we call love is just emotional attachment without wisdom. Real love does not isolate you from your family or make you lose your values. Anyone who truly loves you will respect your roots, your family, and the people who stood by you before they came into your life.
In relationships and marriage, it is important to respect your family. If anything goes wrong between you and your partner, your family remains your backbone. The same family you push away today might be the one you run back to tomorrow.
Choose wisely. Not every attention is love, and not every relationship is worth losing yourself over.
Never break the bond between you and your family because of someone else, all in the name of love.

Please, marry someone who will give you peace of mind.
