"Naija, how una dey do am? It’s only in Nigeria you will be paying somebody ₦50,000, ₦70,000, and that person will still be surviving and going to work every day. A plate of food, the cheapest you can get, is ₦3,500. What about transportation?

Another thing is there’s no middle class in Nigeria anymore. Nothing like middle class anymore. If you aren’t rich, that means you are nothing.

If you are among those, which I’m one of them, that do pay their workers ₦70,000, ₦80,000, if you are among those that are paying your worker minimum wage, less than ₦100,000, what are you thinking?

Do you think that your worker will be a faithful worker? Because I don’t think so. Let’s put head and think it together.

Transportation from wherever he or she is living is not going to be less than ₦1,000. And that ₦1,000, how many thousands are there in ₦70,000, ₦50,000? How many days are your workers coming to work every day?

Then you think that they will not be ste@ling from you? This is why c0rr&ption is going on every day. Somebody will be working and you’re paying that person peanuts.

So, I’m saying it now, I’m correcting myself, that whoever is working for me and is collecting less than ₦100,000 will no longer collect that. Because I have thought about it. I came to Nigeria just to see how these things are working.

If you are paying your worker anything less than ₦100,000, and that person is still coming to work every day, then that means you are losing more than the ₦100,000 you are not paying.

If I have done it before, I’m sorry, but whoever is working for me will get an increment moving forward..."
