SAD BUT TRUE

Akara and Pap was breakfast served every morning in a hostel of 100 people.

Out of the 100, 80 didn’t like it. They complained daily, saying they were tired and wanted something different.
But the remaining 20 were satisfied. They liked it just as it was.

To solve the issue, the warden introduced a simple rule: Every night, everyone would vote for what they wanted to eat the next morning. The meal with the highest number of votes would be served.

So every night, the 20 who loved Akara and Pap voted for it—with one voice.
But the 80 who didn’t like it were never united. Their votes went in different directions:

18 for Bread and Tea

16 for Yam and Egg Sauce

14 for Jollof Rice

12 for Spaghetti

10 for Indomie

10 for Moi Moi and Pap

Can u guess what the result was every single time?
Akara and Pap kept winning, Not because it was the best, but because the people who didn’t want it were too divided to agree on anything else.

In Nigeria, many are tired of the same old hardship, bad governance and recycled leadership.
We know who and what the real problems are.
But even those who want change are divided—along tribal lines, party names, personal interest, ego, ambition etc.

2027 might seem far away, but it's already around the corner. If we don’t learn from this story, we will wake up again to another bitter round of the same “meal” we’ve been served for ages.

Did someone just ask who Tinubu compensated in the North?

I honestly don’t know where people get the audacity to expect me, Dahiru Bello, to freely provide information I spent my own time and data gathering.

Let’s break it down:

Tinubu gave the Gombe State Governor ₦60 billion—just for farming—aside from the regular FAAC allocations.

Where is the money? Where is the farm?

₦100 billion was allocated for the Kaduna State Light Rail Project.

Where is the light rail?

Over 50% of the federal capital budget between 2024 and 2025 was allocated to Northern Nigeria.

The North West Development Commission got ₦585.9 billion.

The North East Development Commission received ₦291 billion.

The North received more intervention grants, while the South got more FAAC allocations—because that’s where the revenue is generated.

So, where is all the money our Development Commissions and Governors have been collecting? Billions upon billions. I remember the United Nations gave Uba Sani $11 million for hospitals.

Where is the hospital?

Let me be clear: the people killing the North are our own people. But we can’t even confront them because:

1. The DSS will come after you.

2. You’ll be blackmailed and accused of being jealous of their families.

3. You can’t question them—because the same youths whose future is being destroyed will rise to defend them.

We get money upon money from all directions. There has never been a time in the Fourth Republic when the Federal Government refused to allocate billions and trillions to Northern development. From Obasanjo to Goodluck to Tinubu, we have always been the beneficiaries of massive intervention funds.

From Sadiya Umar Farouk to Dasuki, it is always our own Northerners who have bundled the money—but we’re too shy to question ourselves. Sadiya Farouk even claimed she sent 37.1 billion Naira and 729 billion Naira meant for displaced persons to her account by accident. How can you send billions by mistake.

2023 Presidential Election Results Released by Nasir El-Rufai

Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, today posted what he claimed to be the actual 2023 presidential election results on his X (formerly Twitter) handle. In a surprising turn of events, he expressed regret for supporting the rigging that allegedly cost Peter Obi the presidency.

According to the figures shared:

Peter Obi won 19 states, including the FCT (Abuja)

Bola Tinubu won 8 states

Atiku Abubakar won 7 states

Rabiu Kwankwaso won 2 states

Obi and Atiku reportedly had a tie in Katsina State

If these figures are anything to go by, Peter Obi would have clearly emerged as the rightful winner of the 2023 election.

This is why Peter Obi has become the bride of every political party.

Men,

Don't mock a Man that has fallen. Don't laugh at a man that has lost his business. Why do you feel excited when you hear a man is out of business? Or lost his job?

Life is a transaction. Life is a mystery. Things happens. S**t happens. Men get sucked. Accident happens. Unseen challenges are bound to occur.

No one is above all these. No one can predict their end no matter how they try to be careful. I've seen the great fall brutally. Brutally to the extent you imagine if they are truely the people you had ever known. I've seen the mighty get broken.

The tables can turn anyday anytime. If you are up today, remember you were once down. And someday someone might climb beyond you too. Remember to remain humble and loyal.

If you see a fellow Man that has fallen by the way. Help them. Uphold them. Don't expect anything from don't. Even if they were bad people as at when they were at the Pinnacle, please just help.
