Next is the *Heart notes*, which appears after about 20mins. It contains the truest nature of the scent & makes up the heart of the perfume (it is the core of the perfume), it comprises around half of the oil in the bottle.

You smell *top notes* within the first 5-15 minutes of applying. It is first impression of the perfume and is usually the first to evaporate, so light oils are used.
