Bad Salon Experience – Real TalkBad
I don’t usually talk about bad experiences, but this one taught me a lesson.
On Dec 26, I went to a stylist after Christmas for a simple installation. I asked clearly if she could do the style. She said yes.
From the moment she brought out the glue, I knew something was wrong. No proper prep, no testing—just straight to my head. I kept asking questions, but I was told, “This is what works for us.”
Long story short:
❌ My hair started pulling immediately
❌ I got burned
❌ I left in pain and disappointed
I paid ₦15k, not ₦1k—so yes, I expected better.
If you can’t do a style, please say no. Clients are not practice models.
Thankfully, she apologised and removed it, and I fixed myself at home. Lesson learned.
Always speak up. Your scalp matters. 💔➡️💪

Christmas season hits different, especially when it’s time for carol service in church 🎄✨

Today was one of those days I had to rush my makeup because I couldn’t miss church 😅💄
Yes, we are already beautiful as women, but sometimes we just need to enhance the beauty a little — especially when you’re surrounded by other beautiful women in church looking all radiant for the season.
