Don't compare your beginning with someone else's 10 years of effort.

Instead of allowing envy to consume you, why don't you get motivated and keep building.

I've heard such things like "see person wey just start this makeup work last year...this year she now has a big makeup Studio, me I still dey here after 5 years, no studio, no makeup chair..."

Well, let me laugh first 🤣

You see why I said you should focus on your focus?

You're the only one that knows your source of income... You don't know if the person was sponsored or has a partner in the business, or a family person helped out or the person even saved up money for that before starting or one sugar zaddy somewhere... I'm just giving all the possible options.

The truth is, sometimes growth may be slow for some people and fast for others, but regardless you will still arrive at your destination.

Have you ever tried to rush and enter a vehicle and it got filled before you got there...you kept grumbling how late you are and how you've missed the vehicle that would have made you arrive early.

You waited for the second bus to be filled, which will take about 7 people. While waiting, you kept grumbling and complaining even threatening the driver that you will step down to take a faster vehicle.

Finally, the vehicle got filled and on your way, you discovered that the vehicle that you were supposed to enter first had an accident and everyone in that vehicle died.

Sometimes, God keeps you in that situation for a longer period of time to teach you patience, endurance, perseverance, kindness and love.

If they're doing better than you, celebrate them genuinely while waiting for your turn.

Life is in phases, men are in sizes. God cannot be mocked! Trust Him! Your time will come.
