NDLEA Commander Found Dead In Hotel

The Cross River State Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Morrison Ogbonna, has been found dead in a hotel room in Calabar.

Kbee gist reports that Ogbonna’s lifeless body was discovered on Thursday morning, September 18, 2025, by his officers who had gone to pick him up for an official assignment.

A source who spoke with The Guardian said several knocks on his hotel room door went unanswered, leading to the intervention of the management.
