I had an interesting encounter with a customer recently that left me shaking my head. She approached me with a passionate plea to start selling her products at wholesale prices, but here's the kicker - she only had 30,000 Naira to invest.

I understood her enthusiasm, but as someone who's been in the business long enough, I knew it was impossible to make it work with such a limited budget. I explained to her that the cost of purchasing products, marketing, and logistics would far exceed her initial investment.

But she was adamant, insisting that she could make it work. I had to break it down to her that wholesale prices require bulk purchases, which in turn require significant upfront capital.

It was a hard pill to swallow, but eventually, she understood the reality of the situation. My advice to her (and to anyone else with similar aspirations) is to start small, be patient, and focus on building a solid foundation before trying to tackle wholesale prices.
