28yr old man, A Right handed DJ, that fell while carrying his Large speakers on the staircase. The Speakers hit the Figers as he fell holding the speakers. Sustained multiple open fractures of both hand digits with significant vascular damage in some.

They present late in our environment due to ignorance and poverty. She was brought to our clinic after several mega doses of calcium consumption and regular visitations to traditional bone setters /healers failed to resolve deformity.

It's a severe deformity "bow-leg" that could become obvious as the child start walking or could present later in childhood but it rarely resolves without surgery.

Haemotoma infected turned into an expanding viscous island of Frank pus. They stopped the local treatment when the pains became unbearable severe.

The resultant chronic osteomyelitis.The infection has invaded the bone. An unseemly "harmless" injury has almost resulted in a long time morbidity complications. Hope our people should start visiting orthopedic centers or hospitals when they sustain closed injuries /fractures instead of local massage centres/spiritual healing places. It's an epidemic and more of belief system /ignorance as its common among middle class folks.

Examination revealed an ill-looking boy and febrile. Severe circumferential swelling of the left thigh (upper thigh to knee region), shiny skin with scarification marks, soft, fluctuant and very tender. Aspiration yielded sanquine purulent fluid (blood mixed with Frank pushing)

Our assessment revealed that we are dealing with a BONE TUMOR. He was appropriately counseled, including the possibility of recurrence. The tumor tissues were carefully removed in theatre and sent for HISTO-PATHOLOGY (lab-test) to confirm the type of tumor.

CLUBFOOT involving both feet, before and after ponseti-technique manipulation and casting. Deformity corrected, child wearing the FOOT ABUCTION BRACE(Iowa brace) to maintain the correction and prevent recurrence.
