They are two different disease
Malaria is caused by plasmodium parasites from mosquito bites.
Typhoid is caused by Salmonella typhi from contaminated food or water.
They don't "move together". That's just lazy diagnosis.
I know your lab results come back with a positive widal test result of 1/80 but that's not diagnostic.
The Widal test measures antibodies your body produces against Salmonella typhi (the bacteria that causes typhoid).
But antibodies can be present from:
• a past infection,
• a previous vaccination, or
• even cross-reaction with other bacteria.

So, a low titer (like 1/80) doesn't mean u have an active infection
