Kauthar Opeyemi Lawal is a Public Health Advocate, Midwife Nurse and Founder of LOK Natal Care, committed to improving awareness and understanding of women’s reproductive health.

Through her advocacy work, she has sensitised over 1,300 women across rural communities in Ogun State and her virtual community on PCOS/PMOS, with a focus on early diagnosis and timely care.

She is also the producer of Beyond the Symptoms, a documentary that brings together the real-life journeys of women living with PCOS alongside expert insights from medical professionals. It explores PMOS and infertility while helping women and girls understand the condition beyond its symptoms.

At PMOS 2026, Kauthar will showcase Beyond the Symptoms and share the advocacy journey behind the documentary.

Meet the Moderator for our Fireside Chat, Oluwadamilola Lagundoye.

A Nigerian content creator, model and digital storyteller passionate about women’s health, wellbeing, beauty and lifestyle. As a woman living with PMOS, she uses her platform to share authentic experiences, raise awareness and encourage meaningful conversations around women’s health and wellbeing.

For “Living Well with PMOS: Managing the Whole Woman,” she brings a relatable, warm and engaging perspective to a conversation centred on helping women feel informed, seen and supported.

Dr. Akinyemi Olaleye is the Executive Chairman and Medical Director of Sameda Clinics, a women-centred gynaecological and endoscopy clinic in Lekki, Lagos.

With extensive experience spanning obstetrics, gynaecology, advanced laparoscopic surgery, IVF, and infertility evaluation, Dr. Olaleye brings a wealth of clinical expertise and insight to women’s health.
