Stop Self-Diagnosing via the internet, embrace proper checkup
Hello Everyone,
Today I introduce to you my new project, my new audio drama series: 'Health Dose Drama Series Podcast.'
I love to surf the internet, stay informed, and ask questions only when absolutely necessary.
When I was pregnant with my first child, Google was my best friend. I searched everything: symptoms, signs, what to expect, and what not to expect. I had read 'Everywoman: A Gynaecological Guide for Life.'
Book by Derek Llewellyn-Jones, so I wasn’t clueless, but the internet gave me a buffet of information, some helpful, some terrifying.
Eventually, I realized something powerful: 'The internet is not a doctor.' When the information got overwhelming, I returned to trusted sources—my book, my antenatal visits, and actual medical professionals. That shift gave me peace. And it planted a seed.
Over the years, I’ve watched people around me fall into the same trap: Googling every ache and pain, self-diagnosing, self-medicating, and then rushing to the hospital when things get worse. It’s a cycle that needs to break.
So I created the 'Health Dose Drama Series Podcast,' a bold, honest, and sometimes hilarious look at how we treat our health in the digital age.
Each episode will dive into real-life stories, medical myths, and the drama that unfolds when we trust search engines over science.
What to Expect:
- Eye-opening stories from everyday people
- Expert insights from real medical professionals
- A campaign that says it loud:
DON’T LOOK IT UP—VISIT THE HOSPITAL
This podcast isn’t just entertainment — it’s a movement. A reminder that while information is powerful, wisdom is knowing where to get the right help.
So whether you’re a chronic Googler, a curious listener, or someone who just loves a good story, this podcast is for you.
