I used to panic anytime a customer asked for something I didn’t have.
It would immediately feel like I had already lost the customer 😩

But with time, I realized something…

You don’t need to have every single perfume before you can make sales.

Sometimes the problem is not even the unavailable product, it’s the fear and panic that enters your body immediately

Now, instead of panicking, I simply recommend what I have available and explain it properly.

Most customers just want something that smells nice, lasts long and matches their taste

And surprisingly, some of them end up loving the one I recommended more than what they originally asked for 💯

Vendors, stop putting yourselves under too much pressure.

Learn your products well and confidently sell what you already have…

Anybody else guilty of panicking when a customer asks for an unavailable item?

“I’ve sent the money.”

That’s where my stress started 💔

One lady messaged me for perfume and she sounded very serious from the beginning. She asked questions, chose her scent, confirmed everything… and placed her order. Na just payment remain.

Few minutes later, she told me she had sent the money.

I checked my phone immediately… no alert.
I checked my account balance myself… nothing entered

I politely told her:
“Please ma, let’s wait a few minutes so I can confirm the payment.”

Instead of waiting, she started sending messages back to back
Saying she has paid, sent receipt, and I should send her order immediately.

Meanwhile, me I never see one naira…

From morning till evening, I kept checking… still no alert.

She was still insisting I should send the package.
How I wan send order when money never show?

Later in the evening, I messaged her again… no reply.
Omo, it looked like I got blocked 😂

That day really reminded me again:
As a vendor, no matter how serious a customer sounds, always confirm payment first.

Because some people will test your patience for no reason

Scammerz are really outside trying to use someone’s hustle chop
