It has come to my attention that many parents, especially mothers, are expressing frustration about the noise their children are making during the holidays. They frequently exclaim, 'I can't wait for school to resume and put an end to the holiday chaos.' I think it's high time we acknowledged the dedication of teachers who spend long hours with these youngsters, from morning till evening, and adopt a more measured approach to discipline, as talking has become the preferred alternative to shouting.
