‎‎It’s crazy how the best ideas come from the most unexpected moments.

‎Back in 200 level, I decided to launch my perfume brand.
‎For weeks, I kept thinking about what to name it. I wanted something simple, unique, and meaningful.
‎
‎One afternoon, I went out with my sister to the bank to transfer my school fees from my mum’s card to my account.
‎After typing in my details, the ATM displayed my name as Hassan Hiradat Oreo instead of Oreoluwa.
‎
‎I laughed and called it out, a bit amused by how the machine shortened my name.
‎Then my sister said, “Oreo! That sounds nice. Why not name your perfume brand Oreo?”
‎
‎At first, I was skeptical. I thought people might confuse it with the popular biscuit brand.
‎But after thinking about it, the name started to make sense.
‎
‎Later, my sister suggested adding a “D” to make it more defined, and that was how D.Oreo Brand was born.
‎
‎Looking back now, I’m glad I chose it.
‎Because D.Oreo Brand has come to mean so much more than just a name.
‎
‎It represents elegance in simplicity, the idea that you don’t have to wear something expensive to feel confident or smell luxurious.
‎It’s about turning everyday scents into unforgettable memories.

‎And to think it all started with one unexpected name on an ATM screen. 🧡
