Turmeric Glow Soap — Melt & Pour
Batch size: 500 g

Ingredients
White or clear melt-and-pour soap base — 500 g
Turmeric powder — 2–3 g
Shea butter — 10 g
Vitamin E — 2 g
Honey — 5 g (optional)
Fragrance oil — 3–5 g (skin-safe, optional)

Method
Cut the soap base into small cubes.
Melt gently using a double boiler or microwave in short intervals. Do not boil.
Mix the turmeric powder with a small amount of melted soap to make a smooth slurry, then add it to the main batch.
Add shea butter and stir until completely incorporated.
Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add vitamin E, honey and fragrance.
Stir gently to minimize bubbles.
Pour into clean silicone molds.
Spray the surface lightly with 70% isopropyl alcohol if available to remove bubbles.
Allow to harden for 4–6 hours, then unmold.
Wrap the bars promptly to protect them from moisture.

1. Coconut & Oatmeal Soap
Melt & Pour Soap Base — 97 g
Colloidal Oatmeal — 2 g
Coconut fragrance — 1 g*
Method: Melt base → cool slightly → add oatmeal → add fragrance → pour into mould → set 12–24 hours.

2. Honey & Oat Soap
Melt & Pour Soap Base — 97 g
Colloidal Oatmeal — 2 g
Honey — 1 g
Tip: Use a small amount of cosmetic-grade honey to avoid making the bar overly soft.

3. Aloe Vera Soap
Melt & Pour Aloe Vera Soap Base — 98 g
Aloe Vera Powder — 1 g
Skin-safe fragrance — 1 g

4. Rice Milk Soap
White Melt & Pour Soap Base — 97 g
Finely milled Rice Powder — 2 g
Skin-safe fragrance — 1 g

General method: Melt the base gently, allow it to cool slightly, disperse powders/additives thoroughly, add fragrance, pour into moulds, and allow to fully harden before unmoulding.

*Always check the supplier's recommended/IFRA maximum usage rate for the specific fragrance or essential oil. Don't automatically use 1%.
