Getting my residence permit reminded me of one lesson l'I never forget about long-distance love:
Love matters... but love alone isn't enough.
A healthy relationship also needs patience, trust, communication, and two people who are still building their own lives.
During my long-distance journey, I learned that waiting for love doesn't mean putting your dreams on hold.
Getting this permit feels like a fresh start because I've always loved building, creating, and investing in my own dreams. Your relationship should add to your life, not replace the life you're building.
That's one lesson l'II always carry with me.
