"My biggest mistake was inviting my ex girlfriend to my birthday party. We broke up last year december bcuz of petty issue, so i decided to invite her to my birthday yesterday. When she arrived, I was really happy to see her and I welcomed her warmly. We gist, laugh and spent time together, We even got so close that we ended up sleeping on the same bed. Before I woke up, she had already gotten ready to leave.
I was surprised at how quickly she was leaving, but she said she had somewhere to go and was running late, So i booked a cab for her. After she left, I didn’t want to be alone, i went to my friends room to chill wit them. so when it was time to leave the hotel, I started packing my things and noticed that my Cuban gold chain was missing from my cross bag.
I searched everywhere in the room but couldn’t find it. I asked my friends, and they said i was still wearing the Cuban when i enter the room with my EX. I called her to ask about it, but she said she didn’t see it. I was confused bcos i clearly remember putting it in my bag before sleeping. I asked her to come back so i could check her bag, but she hasn’t answered my calls since then"

Anambra State Government regarding the Akwa Okuko shrine and the native doctor involved:
📰 Recent Developments in the Akwa Okuko Case
The Anambra State High Court in Awka has sentenced native doctor Chidozie Nwangwu, popularly known as Akwa Okuko Tiwara Aki, to a jail term following prosecution initiated by the Anambra State Government.
He was arrested in February 2025 by the state’s Agunechemba Security Unit on allegations related to money rituals, aiding kidnappers, and unlawful spiritual practices.
Naija News
After entering a plea bargain with the government and pleading guilty, the court sentenced him to two years in prison, but because he already spent about 13 months in custody, he is expected to serve roughly 11 more months at the Awka Correctional Centre.
In addition to incarceration, the court ordered the demolition of his shrine in Oba (Idemili South LGA) and banned him from practising the rituals he was charged for.
He must also publicly renounce “Okeite” and similar practices and has been directed to become an ambassador for youth reorientation, warning others about such rituals after his release.
📌 Government’s Position and Context
The prosecution and sentencing are part of a broader crackdown by the Anambra Government on what it considers fraudulent spiritual activities tied to crime and public harm.
This effort has included arrests, legal actions under the state’s homeland security law, and demolitions or sealing of controversial shrines linked with similar alleged practices.

“Good afternoon, my name is Juan, I’m 47 years old. At 5 years old was the last time I was in Haiti. I’ve lived in the US all my life. I was forced to live back in Haiti due to deportation. My life here is unstable… I was living in the U.S. for 42 years. I left Haiti at 5 years old. I was recently deported. I lost everything. I am so grateful for being alive. I have experienced some horr!f!c, life-changing diffic¥lties since being in Haiti. There is no rest. No security. No jobs, especially for a deported person who is foreign to the culture and traditions. It would mean so much to me if I could get the community’s help and support to relocate so that I may find work and eventually return to support my country, Haiti’s economy…” -

One year im or an option of a ₦5 million fine and an order to refund the outstanding balance of ₦272,252,193.59 to First Bank.
Prior to the judgment, the EFCC had recovered ₦802,420,000 from Kingsley’s account, as well as from the accounts of his mother and sister, while the bank successfully reversed transactions totaling over ₦300 million.

"If my mother doesn't like you, we can't get married. I'm sorry. And to those of you men who marry women that don't get along with your mother, I commend you, but I can't do it. Let me tell you what the issue is. Let me tell you what the issue is. A lot of you do not trust your mother's judgment. I wholeheartedly, completely trust my mother's judgment. My approval of a woman or my consideration of a woman for marriage heavily hinges on what my mother thinks of her. That's the woman who raised me and who actively made me the man that I am today. There is nothing my mother has told me that has ever stayed me wrong in my life. That's my criteria. And I understand that a lot of you do not feel like....."
– A man has stirred mixed reactions online after openly stating that his decision to marry any woman is heavily dependent on his mother’s approval.
