😂😂😂😂
Since YERIMA has been the most mentioned name in Nigeria this past days, I think Oxford Dictionary should consider creating a space for him in the dictionary.
For example:

YERIMA: /ye-ri-ma/ adjective: dignity, intergrity, defenseVerb: yerima Past Tense: yerimied Present Continuous: yeriming Present Perfect: yerimied
😂😂
E.g:.. I yerimied my uncle from entering our farmland .. I've been yerimied from school cos of my school fees.. Its god that yerimied me, I could have been hit by that car
😂😂😂
: to save things, to oppose things, to defend things
😂😂😂 E.g:.. If that babe come, yerima her from entering the compound .. The goal keeper yerimied the ball very well .. Access bank just yerimied my account... Don't yerima the door let fresh air come in.
😂😂😂. Happy weekend viewers

KURMI: THE FORGOTTEN LAND

This morning, I saw these pictures on Facebook. Immediately, some questions came to my heart. If you pause to study the picture below, two unsettling questions leap out: Does such a place still exist in this part of Nigeria? And are these people truly casting votes in an election?

The scene is heartbreaking.

How ironic that the same citizens who once traded insults, severed friendships, and even wished death upon their own brothers over political differences now suffer side by side in the same neglect.

Remember election season? We let partisan zeal divide us—refusing to speak to family, hurling curses, placing politics above blood. And for what?

Today, we are united only in suffering. No good, passable roads link us to the rest of the state. We leave home each morning in clean clothes, only to return stained with mud—like children who spent the day playing in puddles.

Meanwhile, the politicians we fought so hard for now relax in air-conditioned offices, feet propped on polished desks, laughing with their spouses. And us? We’re left chewing the empty promises we once swallowed with hope.

We must now ask: Is the Mararraba–Baissa road just another sweet line from the governor’s campaign script—crafted to win votes, never meant to be fulfilled?

Since the creation of Kurmi Local Government, governors have come and gone. All of them promised, “If I win, I will construct this road.” Have none of them ever won? The answer lies with those who treat politics like a life-or-death affair.

No governor has ever won an election in Taraba State without the support of Kurmi. We have remained loyal to the PDP since the beginning. But what have we gained in return? Nothing but lies and empty words.

Look around Taraba State—every local government has had at least some tarred roads, even if they have now deteriorated. But Kurmi? Does this mean Kurmi is not part of Taraba State in Nigeria?
