RETINYL PROPIONATE
Retinyl propionate is definitely a game-changer for anyone who can’t stand retinol, storming the skincare world as one of the most potent yet gentle forms of retinoids. So if you find retinol too hard to tolerate, you’ll most likely get in love with retinyl propionate and what it has to offer to your skin.
WHAT IS RETINYL PROPIONATE?
Just like retinol, retinyl propionate is a member of the retinoids family, a vitamin A derivative with skin-renewing properties. More precisely, retinyl propionate is an ester form of vitamin A resulting from binding retinol molecules to propionic acid — a fatty acid used to enhance retinol’s feel and effectiveness

Acids have endless benefits, including exfoliation, skin brightening properties, increased collagen production, and reduced wrinkles we simply cannot overlook. AHAs have skyrocketed the skincare world, and they are rarely missing from our routines. While there are many types of alpha-hydroxy acids with different strengths, above all stand glycolic and lactic acids — the two best-known AHAs.
Although both are structurally similar and do the same thing, like breaking down dead cells, lactic acid and glycolic acid work slightly differently. Besides the exfoliating effect both have in common, glycolic and lactic acids have their own properties. So, which one is better? Lactic or glycolic acid? Welp, there’s no general answer to this question. The right question is which one is more suitable for me? Pretty much, it all depends on your skin type and what your expectations are.
Glycolic acid
Out of all AHAs, glycolic acid has the lowest molecular weight, allowing it to pe*****te the deepest among others acids. This means glycolic exfoliates more effectively, but once with that, the dryness and irritation risk arises. When used on a regular basis, glycolic acid can help minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while smoothing out rough patches on the skin surface evening skin tone. Also, glycolic acid is effective for reducing acne, thanks to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
GLYCOLIC ACID

SKIN BENEFIT OF VITAMIN A
******************************
Vitamin A is a nutrient which is most beneficial for the skin. We know vitamin A by many different names such as retinoic acid, retinol, antixerophthalmic vitamin, biosterol or beta-carotene. However vitamin A is an isoprenoid polyene alcohol and these names all have different functions.
We will look at the most important: Retinol is the main form of vitamin A in diets and is solely found in animal products. Carotenes and derivatives act as provitamins or precursors of vitamin A, which is found in many plant substances. So... What is retinoic acid? It is the active form of retinol on the skin and regulates queratogenesis which is the generation process of the skin’s h***y layer.
BENEFITS OF VITAMIN A ON SKIN
ANTI- WRINKLE
****************
Retinoids work best against the most visible effects of aging, the fearsome wrinkles. They are often found in the form of gels or serums.
FIRMING
*********
Retinoic acid (the active form of retinoid on the skin) regulates the queratogenesis and this is necessary to keep the skin smooth, fresh and moist. A vitamin A deficiency can cause dry, itchy skin or dry hair. On a systematic level, it can produce any of the following symptoms: Night blindness, dry and inflamed eyes and reduced resistance to infections
PIGMENTATION
****************
Vitamin A is an element that likely contributes more to maintaining healthy skin and helps promote a natural tan, since it encourages the pigmentation development in the skin.
ACNE TREATMENT
*******************
Isotretinoin is a drug derived from retinoic acid (vitamin A) which has a big effect on cystic or severe acne. Its original form helps sebum regulation.
ANTIOXIDANT
**************
Beta-carotenes have an antioxidant action, meaning that they protect the body from illness and aging by blocking the action of so-called free radicals which are compounds that damage skin cells. They can be included in some treatments in a concentrated form.
Healing: Vitamin A promotes the healing and softness of our skin and regulates the metabolism of cellular regeneration in the h***y layer.

This versatile vinegar boasts a seemingly endless list of uses – from a digestive aid and blood sugar stabilizer to a balancing hair treatment and skin tonic.
You’ll need:
Glass jar
Enough apple scraps to fill your jar
White sugar
Filtered water
Cheesecloth
Elastic band
DIRECTIONS:
1. Fill the glass jar almost to the top with the apple scraps (Cut apples into small pieces) The wine colored one preferably
2. Dissolve one tablespoon of sugar into one cup of water and pour over the apples. if its not enough to cover it, dissolve another one.
3. Pour the sugar water over the apples until completely submerged. Use the weight or small clean jar or plate to weigh down the apples, ensuring that all of the fruit is completely submerged by the liquid.
4. Cover the jar with a cheesecloth or coffee filter to keep the fruit flies at bay and store it at room temperature, but out of direct sunlight. A kitchen cabinet is the ideal location. Secure with a rubber band.
5. Allow the mixture to rest for three to four weeks. Be aware that the fermentation process speeds up during sunny days, and slows down in colder months.
6. Check your vinegar every few days to ensure the apples are submerged, and look for mold growth.
After three to four weeks, when you notice a dark, cloudy substance in the jar (‘the mother’) you can strain the mixture, throw away the apple pieces and reserving the liquid.
7. Return the liquid again to the jar, and cover with its normal lid. Again, leave it to ferment for two to four weeks, gently shaking the jar every other day. Taste the liquid regularly until it reaches an acidity you like.
8. At this point, you can transfer it to a bottle and begin using it. Homemade apple cider vinegar can be stored at room temperature, but it will continue to ferment and become more acidic. To prevent this happening, store your bottles in the refrigerator.
Your 'ACV' is ready!!!!
