My first exposure to exercise was during my Youth Service at Bauchi State in the year 2011. I was posted to Open Air Theater an arm of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism where the state Cultural Troupe works. It was my first time of seeing a thing like that. I would go to the office in the morning, join in the exercises before the main dance rehearsals will start. Oh, dancing is a lot of exercise and it's a lot harder than you Think. It wasn't easy at first at all.

I was advised not to take painkillers so as to allow my body adjust to my new reality. And yes, it did. After my 1 year of youth service, everything stopped. I went back to my former lifestyle.

Fast-forward to 6 years later, motherhood jolted me out of slumber. I was back to exercising again and it eventually became a lifestyle.
