It was lovely growing up in a African home, waking up as early as possible to wash plates and clothes before preparing for school 🥰😍. It was a very tough time for some kids like me who had to live with relatives because my parents separated when I was young. 😔💔 At every opportunity, you were reminded that you were not living with your parents and you must behave yourself. 💔👌 But I was a very stubborn girl who just didn’t care what you had to say, not because I didn’t understand a word, but because I must not let it get to my head, else it would be more painful than ever when I grew up and remembered those memories. The only nice memory I have about childhood was when I was in school.
Real confidence is changing your mind when you get new information. Flexibility is intelligence; stubbornness is ego. Confident people can admit they were wrong. Insecure people double down.😎
