I get the question on ‘how can I eat healthier’ often and I try to think back to how I evolved to enjoying healthy plates and honestly there wasn’t a point of ‘today I’m going to stay eating healthy! Enough is enough!’ 🤣🤣 I’d love to know if that method has worked for anyone though.
I was genuinely curious about feeding my body right and changing things here and there.
It can sometimes feel like a big decision to make, but embracing it from the perspective of making lifestyle changes one day at a time makes it more enjoyable than punishment. We don’t want to commit for one week and stop the next.

It’s not about the expensive trends, or healthy labels, but what we can whip up with simple whole ingredients.
What’s your usual food budget for the week?

Think about the atmosphere, quiet time + good journalling prompts + calm soft music (or none) + a warm drink creates.
Save these for your next quiet time, it might not feel comfortable, but it would certainly shift something in you.
1️⃣ Financial reality check - Am I one paycheck away from crisis?
2️⃣ Choosing joy now - What if my hope doesn’t happen in my time frame? Can I still smile today?
3️⃣ Faith without the noise - Would my relationship with God stand without podcasts and sermons?
4️⃣ Stretching beyond self - When did I last stretch myself for someone else?
5️⃣ Reclaiming time - What would I do with a phone-free 30-60 mins?
6️⃣ Stewarding the gift of health - I’m I proud of how I have taken care of the house that is my body?
You can type this up, or simply get a pen and paper to write on, or even better - get a journal like the Better Days one, where you can keep a record of the journey and transformation.

I’d defo be all over the place without these apps.
This year I really want to maximise their use and find all the hacks on how to use them. Such as; audio transcription in the notes app and the reminder app for relationship management.
More importantly, dive into even more technical platforms like Notion. A notion board for my life would be so dreamy 🤤

Motherhood is one of the most transformative roles a woman can step into. Infact, multiple days in the year isn’t enough to celebrate mothers. We should do one per quarter 🤣🤣
But on a real note, while I’m not in that season yet, I’m all about preparing ahead for whatever season you hope to step into, no matter how minor or major the prep is.
Whilst motherhood is truly one you learn as you go along, here are some of the little ways I choose to be intentional ahead of time.
Happy Mothers Day to the women already walking that journey, doing it tired, doing it with joy, doing it with all intention. And to the mothers that raised us, thank you💐🤍
