I bless God for bringing us to the end of today's activities and ask that He grant us sound sleep as we lie down to sleep 🛌💚💚
Good night all

As parents, we all want our daughters to marry someone who can provide stability and security. But should money be the only reason to say yes or no?

Love matters. Character matters. Responsibility matters. And so does the ability to build a future together.

A man may not have much today but could have the determination, discipline and willingness to grow. On the other hand, someone who has money but lacks character, respect and responsibility may not give your daughter a happy home.

So instead of asking only, “How much does he have?” ask:

“Who is he?”
“Does he respect my daughter?”
“Is he responsible?”
“Does he have a vision for the future?”
“Are they both willing to build together?”

Parents, don't choose a husband for your daughter based solely on wealth. And don't encourage her to ignore genuine financial irresponsibility simply because she is in love.

Love should have a foundation—and building that foundation requires more than money.

What would you do if this were your daughter?

Parents, would you encourage your daughter to marry a man simply because of his family’s financial status, even when she doesn’t love him?

Let’s be honest—every parent wants the best for their child. We want our daughters to marry into a good family, have financial stability, and enjoy a comfortable life.

But is money enough to build a happy marriage?

A wealthy family can provide comfort, but they cannot guarantee love, respect, peace, faithfulness, or emotional safety.

Before encouraging your daughter to marry a man because of his family’s wealth, ask yourself:

👉 Does he respect her?
👉 Does he genuinely love her?
👉 Does she love and feel safe with him?
👉 Does he have good character and values?
👉 Can they communicate and build a life together?

Parents, wealth may make life easier, but it should never be the reason your daughter says “I do.”

Let her marry someone she can love, respect, and build a meaningful life with—not simply someone whose family has money.

What do you think? Would you encourage your daughter to marry for family wealth?
