My 40th birthday wish!
My birthday, for many years has generally been much of a non-event.
However, as my 40th birthday approaches on the 19th of this month, Nov 2022, I have decided to devout the occasion to raise funds towards the pursuit of a lifelong ambition and pet project for which i had hitherto had no idea or personal capacity to finance.
A lot of people seem to think your life is pretty much over once you hit 40, but I dare say that this is not true as one can still do amazing things despite not being a sprightly young chap anymore. No one tells you when it’s time to lay down and give up.
Thanksgiving and giving has always been part of my life. I know what it means not to have, and I have always given no matter how small from the little resources at disposal and wish to do more.
SO....
As earlier stated, I want to make my 40th birthday memorable in a different way by raising money to actualize my pet project which will position me for better service to humanity.
The reality of life is that ‘fingers are not equal’. I have therefore categorized my wish list to commemorate my big 40 years as follows:
Bronze Category!
40 wonderful people in my life to donate N40,000 each i.e N10,000 for each decade that I have spent on mother earth.
Silver Category!
30 awesome people to donate N60,000 each
Gold Category!
20 kind-hearted people to show me love with a donation of N100,000 each.
Platinum Category!
10 amazing people that I mean so much to, to donate N200,000; and
Diamond Category!
4 outstanding people that my dream means a lot to, to donate N400,000 each.
