Light bl£eding can happen in early pregnancy
Many women panic immediately, they see slight bl£eding and assume:
“My period has started.”
But sometimes, it may actually be implantation bleeding.
This can happen when the fertilized egg attaches itself to the lining of the uterus during early pregnancy
Implantation bleeding is usually:
Very light spotting
Pink or brown in color
Short-lasting
Lighter than a normal menstrual flow
That’s why many women mistake it for their regular period.
However, not every bl£eding in pregnancy is normal.
Heavy bl£eding, severe abdominal pain, dizziness, or large clots should be medically checked immediately

“Pregnant women, do you know your due date is not just a random guess? 🤰📅”
Many women hear:
“Your EDD is this date.”
…but don’t actually know how it is calculated
EDD means Estimated Date of Delivery
Doctors and nurses commonly calculate it using:
✔️ The first day of your Last Menstrual Period (LMP)
Simple method:
👉 Add 7 days
👉 Subtract 3 months
👉 Add 1 year
Example: LMP = June 10, 2025
EDD = March 17, 2026
That’s why pregnancy is counted as:
🗓️ 40 weeks
🗓️ 280 days from LMP
Remember: EDD is an ESTIMATED date not every woman delivers exactly that day
Some babies come earlier, some later, and still remain healthy.

“Your baby bump is too small for 27 weeks…”
One of the most common worries pregnant women have at 27+ weeks is:.
“Why is my tummy still small?”
First — a small baby bump does NOT always mean there is a problem with the baby
Many things can affect bump size:
❤️ First pregnancy
❤️ Baby’s position
❤️ Mother’s body structure
❤️ Different baby growth patterns
❤️ Amniotic fluid level
Some women carry small throughout pregnancy and still deliver healthy babies safely
That’s why doctors check more than tummy size alone:
✔️ Baby’s heartbeat
✔️ Ultrasound growth
✔️ Fundal height
✔️ Baby’s movements
But if your healthcare provider notices the bump is much smaller than expected, further checks may be needed to monitor baby’s growth.
