WHY SOME BABIES REFUSE TO TURN HEAD-DOWN (AND WHAT YOU CAN DO!) 😭🤰
Some babies will just sit inside the womb like kings and queens on a royal chair.
Head down? For where!
Baby will cross leg and say:
“Leave me, I’m comfortable like this.” 😂👑
But mama, let’s talk about why some babies stay breech and what you can safely do.
👇👇
1️⃣ TOO MUCH SPACE OR TOO SMALL SPACE
Sometimes the womb is too roomy (like 2nd/3rd pregnancy).
Baby will just float around anyhow.
Other times, the womb is too tight, fibroids, low fluid, or shape of the uterus and baby can’t turn well.
2️⃣ BABY IS JUST STUBBORN (YES, IT HAPPENS 😭😂)
Some babies just like sitting position.
No reason.
Just vibes.
3️⃣ TOO MUCH AMNIOTIC FLUID OR TOO LITTLE
Too much water = baby swimming laps.
Too little = baby can’t rotate.
Both can affect turning.
4️⃣ PLACENTA POSITION
If placenta is low (placenta previa) or lying in front, baby may find it hard to turn head-down.
5️⃣ MULTIPLE PREGNANCY
If you’re carrying twins or more, space don reach finish.
Everybody is managing corner.
Turning becomes difficult.
WHAT MAMA CAN DO (SAFE METHODS ONLY!) 👇
✔️ 1. SIT UPRIGHT MORE OFTEN
Avoid always reclining or lying back.
Sit like queen, straight spine, hips forward.
✔️ 2. DO PELVIC TILTS
Cat-cow stretch, gentle rocking on hands and knees.
It helps baby find space to rotate.
✔️ 3. USE BIRTH BALL
Sit and gently bounce or rotate your hips.
Baby will feel the space and shift position.
✔️ 4. SLEEP ON YOUR LEFT SIDE
Helps improve blood flow and create room for turning.
✔️ 5. RELAX!
Stress can make your muscles tight.
Calm body = more room for baby to move.
WHEN TO SEE YOUR HEALTH WORKER 🚨
If you’re 34–36 weeks and baby is still breech
If you feel unusual pain or tightness
If movements reduce
If your doctor wants to try ECV (manual turning of baby)
Please don’t let anybody turn your baby at home.
Not aunty, not neighbor, not prayer warrior. 🙏
It is r!sky.
Let trained professionals handle it.

Not 9–5…
24/7. 😩🤰
You stand up? Waist pains.
You sit down? Pelvis pains.
You lie down? Baby starts night vigil.
You want to sleep? Restless legs + heat + frequent urination = try again.
And the hunger?
You eat at 9pm…
Baby says, “Mummy, warm something again.” 🍲😂
But the sweetest part?
Those strong kicks reminding you that your little human is almost here. ❤️
