What if you discovered your wife has no womb, what would you do??😱

A married woman came for pelvic scan with complaint that she has never menstruated since puberty and painful sexual in*******se.
She said she developed normal during puberty her breasts grew and her body looks like any other woman’s. But she has never menstruated, and this has affected her marriage and ability to conceive.💔💔
Upon scanning no womb(Uterus) and Cervix was seen😱
The vaginal canal was shortened too🥺

And According to her, she has never done any surgery before…
She’s was actually born without a womb(Uterus) hence the reason she never menstruated🥲😭

Funny and shocking as it may sound, but this is true💔
The condition is known as Uterovaginal aplasia

Husband and wife came for pregnancy scan….
They did a bet on the gender of the baby 😂😂 the man wants a girl while she wants a boy
Patient(wife): Ma don’t tell us the gender please, just write it on the report

The husband: why babe? What’s the difference, let’s just know it

Patient (wife): Noooo at home please

Me: Okay I won’t say it, but I’ve seen it😆

Patient: (now curious, looking at me) ma do you think I’ll win, I want a boy

Me: I thought you said I shouldn’t tell??

Patient: yes don’t say it, we’ll check it at home

(I finished the scan gave them their report, and they left)
5mins after, I stepped out to buy water and saw them standing on the road checking it

So if it’s actually easy to differentiate between a baby boy and a baby girl

I just read a post of a lady that has done myomectomy (fibroid removal surgery) three times 💔😱 and she still suffering from fibroids💔😭😭
Each time she did the surgery, the fibroids comes back after few weeks, and more aggressive💔 and the only solution is for her to keep going for fibroid removal surgeries or remove her womb entirely 😭😭
She doesn’t even have kids yet but her chances of giving birth is now slim🥹
She goes through so much paín and blêêds alot 💔
Omooo some women are suffering tbh

Something happened yesterday that made me feel very bad😞😫
A lady in her 30’s came for pelvic scan yesterday..
I saw her tummy was really big, so i thought she was pregnant
Before I began scanning, I asked her when her last me**es was and how many weeks she was
She looked at me and said I am not pregnant🥹
Immediately I felt really bad 💔
I did the scan and it was huge fibroids that made her look pregnant 🥹🥹
I learnt my lesson never to just conclude by just looking 😞
Not everyone you see with big tummy is actually pregnant.

The most annoying part is, I asked her if she has chances of removing them, she said no that she’s taking herbs💔
And according to her she’s seeing improvement hmm
I rest my case ooo

But this fibroid of a thing is very w!cked!!!!!!!!

A guy and his girlfriend came for pregnancy scan, they look very young though
So before scanning, the lady did like she wanted to vomit and asked the guy she came with to get her water👀💀
When the guy left, she started begging me that what ever the scan says, I should just write 2months on the report 👀😱I should tell the guy it’s around 2month
I told her I can’t do such, it’s against my profession 🙉she was begging and even willing to pay if I accepted👀👀

So the guy came in and the scan was done. Luckily for her it was around 7weeks and some days which is almost 2months😂😂
Later on, she was asking if it’s exactly the weeks or I covered up for her🙄🤔

A lady came for a scan today and honestly, the whole experience left me shocked.

Her complaint was that her tummy has been getting bigger, and sometimes it feels like something is moving inside. She also said the stomach feels very stiff and hard.

When I looked at her abdomen, it was actually very big. When I palpated it, it was hard and firm too. Immediately, my mind went to fibroid.

But the size of the abdomen was what surprised me the most. It had grown so big that it was almost reaching up to her chest.

So I told myself, okay, let me start the scan.

Guys… what I saw on the screen shocked me.

Huge fibroids.

Not just big… very, very huge fibroids. In fact, it’s probably the biggest fibroid I’ve personally seen on ultrasound.

I asked her, “Is this your first scan?”

She said yes.

Then she added something that almost made me speechless. She said she thought the reason her stomach was big was because she had been overeating.

Imagine that.

Your stomach is swelling and getting bigger, it’s hard when you touch it, and you think it’s just food?

She even said that she hadn’t eaten yet, and that when she eats, the stomach becomes even bigger than that.

At that point I was honestly getting frustrated because sometimes patients ignore very obvious signs.

Fibroids don’t grow that big overnight. This must have been growing for years.

Then she told me something even more surprising.

She didn’t go to a hospital.

She went to a pharmacy, and it was the pharmacy that told her to go for a scan.

After the scan, she looked at me and asked, “Should I go and see a doctor?”

I just stared at her for a moment because I had been explaining the findings the whole time.

Of course she needs to see a doctor.

The fibroid I saw was massive. One of them measured about 18.6 cm by around 15 cm.

It was extremely large.

The interesting part is that the fibroid is not in the exact place where a baby would implant, but with fibroids that large, pregnancy could still be very difficult.

I even asked her how she manages daily activities.

I asked, “Can you even lie on your stomach?”

She said whenever she tries, it feels very uncomfortable.

And honestly, that made me wonder how someone can stay comfortable with something like that growing inside their body for so long.

Fibroids can grow slowly, but they don’t reach that size overnight.

Sometimes it just shows how important it is to pay attention to your body and seek medical care early.
