Sometimes, the hardest part of entrepreneurship is not making the move. It’s convincing yourself that you’re ready to make it.

The overthinking. The second-guessing. The endless need to make sure every detail is perfect before taking that next step. Wondering if the timing is right, if the decision will work, if everything will come together the way you imagined.

There was a decision made at Wigs by Sally that came with a lot of those feelings. So many thoughts, so many “what ifs,” and the usual pressure to get everything just right.

But eventually, the decision had to be made.

And looking back, it’s a reminder that sometimes, things don’t need to be perfect before you begin. Sometimes, you just need to trust the work you’ve put in, take the step, and allow things to unfold.

Not every decision will feel easy. Not every move will come with certainty. But some of the things you worry about the most end up becoming the very things you’re grateful you had the courage to do.

If you’ve been sitting on an idea, a decision, or your next big move, perhaps this is your gentle reminder to take the step. You may be more ready than you think.

I spent so much time worrying about a decision I knew I needed to make.

Going back and forth. Questioning if it was the right time. Wondering if it would work out the way I hoped. And honestly, that’s one thing entrepreneurship doesn’t prepare you for enough how often you have to make decisions while still feeling uncertain.

But eventually, I reminded myself that waiting until I felt completely ready could mean waiting forever.

So I took the step.

And looking back, I’m so glad I did. Not because everything suddenly became perfect, but because that decision opened doors, created opportunities, and moved the brand forward in ways I couldn’t have fully imagined at the time.

Sometimes, the clarity you’re waiting for only comes after you take action.

To every woman building something of her own, don’t let the fear of making the wrong decision keep you from making any decision at all.

Trust yourself. Do the work. Take the step.
