In Tribute to a Loyal Companion – Yinka Majekodunmi "Mamba" Our paths converged from Lawanson to London North West, a journey marked by an unbreakable bond, nurtured through shared laughter, memories, and aspirations.

Yinka, affectionately known as Mamba, embodied more than a childhood friend; he was an integral part of our family. Your loyalty was unwavering, your presence indelible. From the familiar streets of our youth to the premises of V3 Hair Design in London, you consistently demonstrated warmth, energy, and an unshakeable commitment.

Today, we mourn not only your passing but also the void your departure has created. I extend my sincerest condolences to your family; may they find solace in the knowledge that you lived a life defined by loyalty, joy, and love.

We place our trust in an omnipotent God, and though our hearts are heavy, we have faith in His divine will. Rest in peace, dear brother. Farewell, Yinka — Mamba. May your soul find eternal repose.

STRENGTH IN GRACE: THE POWER OF FLEXIBILITY IN RELATIONSHIPS
By V3Media

In a world where assertiveness is often confused with emotional strength, many relationships quietly suffer under the weight of pride, ego, and inflexibility. In my years working with couples and families, I’ve seen time and again that it’s not conflict that breaks relationships—it’s the unwillingness to bend, to listen, and to grow together.

Both men and women can fall into this trap, but often I see women—and increasingly, men—who feel the need to “win” every disagreement, believing that standing their ground is a show of strength. But real strength lies not in overpowering the other person, but in choosing empathy, wisdom, and love even when it's difficult.

A relationship is not a battleground, and love is not a competition. When two people constantly strive to outdo each other, someone inevitably walks away wounded. But when both are willing to pause, reflect, and respond with grace, healing and connection take root.

The Islamic tradition offers a powerful reminder of this balance. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) praised gentleness and kindness, especially in the home. He taught that a loving, patient spouse can soften even the hardest heart and preserve harmony through wisdom and emotional intelligence.

The Christian faith echoes this truth. Scripture teaches:
“A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” — Proverbs 15:1
And in Ephesians 5:21, Paul reminds couples:
“Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.”
Mutual respect and humility are at the core of lasting love.

It’s not weakness to choose peace. It’s not submission to say “I hear you” or “Let’s find common ground.” It is strength in its highest form. The kind that holds families together, raises secure children, and creates homes filled with trust and warmth.

To the rising generation of women and men navigating marriage and relationships in a fast-paced world: you don’t have to lose yourself to love well. But neither should you lose love trying to prove yourself. Emotional intelligence, patience, and grace are not old-fashioned—they are timeless tools for lasting joy.

Strong hearts bend. Stubborn hearts break. Choose wisely.
